Groundbreaking for Student Success and Career Center at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Southeast Campus
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ President & CEO Leigh B. Goodson, joined by Board of Regents Chair Paul Cornell, Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum, and Tulsa City Councilor Anna America, broke ground on the Student Success and Career Center at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Southeast Campus, 10300 E. 81st St. The $5.3 million facility is part of the Vision Tulsa package approved by voters in 2016.

ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Partners with Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office to Offer New Certificate
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ is offering a new Corrections Certificate beginning fall 2017 for individuals who work in corrections facilities or prisons. The program is the result of a partnership between ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ and the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office.

Broken Arrow Fire Department Offers Internships for ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Students
As part of an innovative new program, the Broken Arrow Fire Department and ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ are launching a Fire and Emergency Medical Services internship for ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students. The interns are taking part of the 20-week Broken Arrow Fire Academy, in order to learn the skills needed to perform the duties of a firefighter as well as earning essential certifications for employment.
