�ֲ��ý Foundation names new board members for 2013

The �ֲ��ý Foundation has named its executive committee for 2013 and its slate of new members for the Foundation Board. The executive committee members, elected to fill one-year terms, are Mary Shaw, Chair; Larry Mocha, APSCO Inc., Vice-Chair; and, Pierce Norton, ONEOK, Secretary/Treasurer.

New members appointed for three-year terms include: Lisette Coston, Saint Francis Healthcare System; Steve Fate, Public Service Co.; and Shane Fernandez, of Crafton Tull Sparks.

The �ֲ��ý Foundation was founded in 1970 to support the mission and vision of �ֲ��ý. It provides support for �ֲ��ý students, faculty and staff by providing scholarships and resources for program excellence.

�ֲ��ý Dual Credit Program First in State to Earn National Accreditation

�ֲ��ý’s Dual Credit program is the first in Oklahoma to earn accreditation from the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships. �ֲ��ý is one of only 136 programs nationwide to receive the distinction, which recognizes concurrent enrollment programs that meet national standards for quality and rigor.

�ֲ��ý Student Earns National Transfer Scholarship

�ֲ��ý Mechanical Engineering student Luke Crocker was selected as a recipient of the prestigious Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation. The scholarship provides up to $55,000 per year in last-dollar funding, along with advising and academic support.

Digital Media Graduates Showcase Creative Work

Graduating students from �ֲ��ý’s Digital Media program shared their creative portfolios with the community during the Digital Media Student Showcase in May. Projects included animation, motion graphic, interaction design, visual brand identity, photography, and physical media touchpoints such as packaging and print collateral.
